Blackhorse Road, is Annie Hall meets contemporary London... a beautiful fast pace play, driven by hypnotic, naturalistic language and comical intimacy set in our golden age of selfies, Twitter and... Brexit.
Love and the need for human companionship is a narrative that will forever continue despite whatever we may be surrounded by, whoever we are or, where we are from, isn’t that... peculiar, or do we just forget this until it ‘hits’ us in the face and we need to ask ourselves, am I happy, am I really in love... what is it I actually want?
Successful journalist/writer, Natalie and struggling actor, Phillip, can only live out their marriage for as long as the challenges of life will let them or so it seems.
Natalie’s estranged, attractive and provocative sister, will indeed prove a testing ground for this marriage and those around their lives will also find themselves confronting their own truths and examining what is real or what is just... updating one's profile.
